Persons who download from our website are subject to our Electronic Media Download and Reuse Policy |
RSS & Podcasting: means you can "subscribe" to our "Feeds" or
"Channels" and each time a new downloadable item is published to that
"Channel", your computer will download that item and you can then watch or
listen to that file at your convenience. For example, you could burn an MP3
audio file to an audio CD and listen to it in your car, or you could download
the MP4 video file to your iPod-Video and watch it on your lunch break.
You can find
free RSS subscription software on the web, such as
Apple iTunes by
clicking here.
Streaming: If you do not wish to "subscribe" or "download" media files, CT-N also provides Live Web Steams and Streaming On-Demand archives. Streaming (as opposed to downloading) means that you do not have to wait for a long download, and you do not store files on your computer. However, you are bound to your computer to watch & listen to the content.
Requirements: CT-N uses the following file formats for podcasts, you will need a player capable of playing these formats in order to watch or listen on your computer or device.
- Video: MP4 (MPEG-4) with H.264 video codec & AAC audio codec
(Apple QuickTime is a free download and supports these formats)
- Audio: MP3 (MPEG Layer 3) most desktop media players and portable MP3 players support this content
CT-N neither endorses nor is endorsed by iTunes. QuickTime & iTunes are copyright of Apple Computers, Inc.
